Role Description The Certified Personal Trainer will provide individualized fitness coaching to clients in Medford, Jacksonville, Central Point and the surrounding areas in Southern Oregon delivering sessions primarily on‑site at client locations. This contract role involves assessing client needs and fitness levels, designing customized training plans, and leading safe, effective workouts tailored to diverse goals and abilities. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include demonstrating proper exercise technique, monitoring client progress, offering motivation and accountability, and communicating clearly about goals and program adjustments. The Certified Personal Trainer will also educate clients on fitness lifestyle habits, collaborate on scheduling and session planning, and maintain professional documentation and client records. Qualifications Proven skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, with experience designing individualized programs for a wide range of fitness levels. Ability to lead structured workouts, demonstrate proper form and technique ensuring safe progression and appropriate intensity. Experience in offering support to help clients achieve their fitness goals including helping clients improve functional movement, strength, and conditioning. Current certification as a personal trainer (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent) and valid CPR/AED certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client‑focused approach and the ability to motivate and educate diverse individuals. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations within the Medford, Central Point, Jacksonville, Ashland and surrounding Southern Oregon areas.
