Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in New Stanton PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology media and telecommunications location you will help support access control by screening personnel and visitors verifying badges monitoring alarms and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with team members. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel at a technology media and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen employees visitors contractors packages and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals appropriately.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct entry-point checks as required escalating prohibited items access concerns or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas business spaces and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
