Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Travel RN for the CCU unit at a busy healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to cardiac patients while adapting to advanced technologies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Coronary Care Unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing critical interventions.
  
• Utilize advanced equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols to support patient treatment plans.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies aligned with unit policies.
  
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and clinical findings accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
  
• Maintain current certifications and stay updated on ICU best practices and protocols.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control procedures, and patient care guidelines.
  Qualifications:
  
• Current RN license and over 2 years of recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital.
  
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required; prior Meditech experience preferred.
  
• Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac procedures such as heart caths, cardioversion, and medication drips.
  
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Ability to adapt to new equipment and clinical technologies quickly.
