Peer Recovery Support Specialist (Part-Time) Location: Baltimore, MD Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Evening and weekend availability Reports To: Chief Program Officer & Lead Peer Support Supervisor Pay: $18-$20/hour (based on experience) Make a Difference in Recovery Marian House is a residential recovery housing program for women and their children. We provide trauma-informed care, supportive housing, and recovery services to help women achieve stability, sobriety, and independence. Position Overview We are hiring a Peer Recovery Support Specialist to provide peer support services to women in recovery. This role is ideal for someone with lived experience who is passionate about supporting others through substance use recovery, mental health challenges, and reentry. Key Responsibilities Provide peer support through one-on-one and group sessions Assist residents with recovery planning and goal setting Support individuals with substance use recovery and mental health needs Connect residents to community resources , housing, and employment Model healthy coping skills and recovery strategies Advocate for residents and support self-advocacy and empowerment Collaborate with case managers and multidisciplinary team members Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) - required Experience in behavioral health, substance use, recovery support, or social services preferred Skills & Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a residential or supportive housing environment Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Evening and/or weekend availability preferred Work Environment Residential recovery housing setting May include occasional lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($18-$20/hour based on experience) Supportive, mission-driven team Opportunity to make a direct impact in recovery and reentry Apply Now Apply here: Questions: View email address on click.appcast.io No phone calls, please. #J-18808-Ljbffr Marian House
