2027 Internship - Supply Chain ManagementAs an intern with Textron, you'll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You'll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways – working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success.Interns in Supply Chain will work on projects focusing on inventory and procurement practices, driving automation and efficiency into daily processes and procedures that support Direct, Indirect, and Aftermarket. The experience entails both production and supplier interface, and provides ample opportunities to work cross-functionally to efficiently and effectively bring Textron Aviation products to market.Job Responsibilities:Assist with material planning requirements, issuing purchase orders for materials and components, expediting orders as needed, and verifying delivery datesNew process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures, completing problem analysis, etc.Manage inventory and reorder point of materials based on manufacturing schedulesPrepare reports and communications as requestedPerform system data analysis, maintenance, and clean-upQualifications:Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or OperationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAction oriented and seizes opportunitiesEffectively utilizes time and organizes priorities wellSAP experience is a plusComputer Proficiency (MS Office, CAD, etc.)Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship. Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
