Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a shelter location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while assisting residents, guests, and staff. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with checking visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles as directed by site procedures, helping to support orderly operations at the location.
• Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
