Warehouse SupervisorWe are seeking a proactive and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to manage operations at our High Cube Center. This role entails overseeing the end-to-end flow of materials and directly supervising a team, including mentoring GSR 6 supervisors. The ideal candidate will navigate a fast-paced environment, manage labor relations with the UAW, and drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making. You will play a critical role in maintaining building safety, organizational cleanliness, and overall customer satisfaction by ensuring dealer shipping deadlines are consistently met or exceeded.ResponsibilitiesManage the flow of materials and supervise a team of supervisors.Navigate labor relations with the UAW and ensure operational excellence.Maintain building safety and organizational cleanliness.Ensure dealer shipping deadlines are consistently met or exceeded.Mentor and guide GSR 6 supervisors to enhance team performance.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree preferred.Experience in a UAW or unionized supervisory environment.Knowledge of or the ability to learn current systems such as SAP/EWM.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make independent decisions.A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.Ability to work outside traditional hours, including weekends and overtime.Resilience to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsWarehouse supervision experience.Proficiency with SAP and other computer systems.Shift flexibility with the ability to work 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.Experience with warehouse management, supervision, and safety protocols.Why Work Here?Join a globally recognized OEM that is rapidly growing with exciting new model launches over the next 5 years. You will work in a smaller warehousing facility where aftermarket parts are received, stored, and shipped to dealerships nationwide. Safety is paramount, with safety vests and glasses required at all times on the warehousing floor.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Romulus, MI 48174.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.08/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
