Role Description Total Ownership and Leadership - Engage in all aspects of the project from preconstruction into construction and through closeout to ensure consistency and success.

• Provide overall leadership and a willingness to take ownership of the entire project team.
• Create vision; set and orchestrate team priorities & efforts.
• Provide oversight and management of all processes and procedures and the utilization of tools to ensure consistency throughout the project and Company.

Building Relationships - Earn and maintain the trust and respect of subs, owners, A/Es and other partners to effectively leverage relationships in support of project needs.

• Understand the importance of every interaction and how it can build or tear down current/future relationships.
• Stay in sync with the Superintendent on every aspect of the project and show mutual respect as a cohesive team unit.
• Understand all aspects of the contract: owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change management, insurance and bonding requirements.
• Stay a step ahead of risk management and safety issues through experience and planning.
• Escalate issues timely and appropriately.

Team Management and Prioritization - Enable a high performing team, one with high productivity and high efficiency. Accomplish work through mentoring and managing people, not tasks.

• Proactively adjust priorities to ensure the team's focus is on the most impactful items each day.
• Focus first on what your team is doing and how to support them, second on own responsibilities.

Field Team Support - Interact with the field team to create a shared project vision for the planning and delivery of cost, schedule, safety, and quality.

• Stay engaged with TREs and subcontractors to elevate issues if needed for timely resolution.
• Provide documentation of project issues when needed.

Communication - Timely communication of project & company information.

• Be conscious that the receiving party comprehends the information being communicated.
• Read non-verbal cues and what is not being said.
• Be the conduit for communication between various parties; understand the positions of all and objectively be able to see both sides of the fence.

Scheduling - Ensure the schedule is being maintained/updated regularly to support the project and is being utilized effectively to communicate the plan throughout the entire team.

• Understand the critical path and material delivery status to head off issues timely so as not to impact the schedule.
• Focus the office team to get materials onsite to support the field team and ensure the schedule is being met.

Resolving Conflict - Diffuse and resolve all major issues and conflicts arising on the project in a professional and timely manner.

• Embrace and manage conflict internally and externally, inclusive of having difficult conversations that are free of emotion.
• Gain the respect of our partners by being fair in issue resolution.

Support Client Expectations and Needs - Meet with Owners and Architects early to understand project goals & develop strategies to meet or exceed them.

• Adjust systems and tools as necessary to meet the needs of the project. Be flexible.
• Add value by bringing lessons learned and experience.

Associate Development - Challenge team members with the right positions and responsibilities to further their development.

• Provide meaningful feedback consistently.
• Take responsibility for the team's technical and non-technical development and training.
• Manage and take ownership of all aspects of the project finances, including cost projections, sub/owner billings, sub/vendor payments and change management.
• Manage the Owner's money as if it were your own.
• Manage all aspects of the FOP and Project Accountant roles for invoices, billing, and timely payments.

Lead the CD Moody Culture - Be a role model for the entire team and lead by example.

• Communicate expectations and foster a culture of internal and external accountability.
