Exciting Opportunity for an Operating Room/Surgery RN!

Job Description:

Be a pivotal part of our dynamic healthcare team!
Utilize your nursing expertise in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.
Practice independently while managing complex clinical situations.
Deliver both routine and advanced nursing care to patients with diverse needs.
Develop long-range goals and plans to enhance patient outcomes.
Make impactful decisions, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
Meet and exceed the OneCHRISTUS Competencies expectations: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Administer medications and treatments with precision; monitor for side effects and efficacy.
Document all patient interactions meticulously, including histories, symptoms, medications, and care delivered.
Assess learning needs and offer education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience: 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Current BLS certification (AHA only)
Registered Nurse License in Texas or compact state

Work Schedule:

Multiple shifts available
