Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide acute care in the emergency room setting
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, resuscitations, and EKGs
• Collaborate with the charge nurse, RNs, techs, and unit secretary during shifts
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
• Acute ER experience
• Trauma experience preferred
