NPORT Staffing is hiring New York State Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients in their homes throughout Middletown, NY.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities and daily living (ADL), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare light meals and assist with nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Assist clients with medication reminders according to the care plan and scope of practice.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare team.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Active New York State Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Certification
• Previous home care experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience, reliability, and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide quality care in a client's home.
• Reliable Transportation is Preferred

Compliance Requirements

The candidate must be able to provide:

• Active New York State CHHA Certificate
• Valid government-issued identification
• Physical examination (if required)
• Two-Step PPD, QuantiFERON Gold, or Chest X-ray (if applicable)
• MMR and Varicella Immunization Records or Titers
• Background screening clearance (If preferred)
• Authorization to work in the United States
