Sr Associate Scientist - Protein Solutions

Job Description A leading pharmaceutical organization is seeking a Sr. Associate Scientist to support antibody and recombinant protein generation efforts within its Protein Sciences team. This individual will be responsible for hands-on laboratory activities spanning DNA design, molecular cloning, protein expression, purification, and characterization. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory experience in recombinant protein production and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced research environment. Responsibilities Design DNA sequences and support vector construction activities. Perform molecular biology techniques including cloning, sequencing verification, plasmid preparation, and quality control. Produce recombinant proteins, including antibodies, biospecifics, fusion proteins, and other protein modalities using mammalian expression systems. Purify proteins using affinity chromatography and other purification techniques. Conduct analytical characterization of purified proteins to assess quality, concentration, and functionality. Fulfill laboratory reagent and protein production requests while maintaining accurate documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional scientists to support ongoing research programs. Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and compliance with established safety protocols. Analyze experimental results and communicate findings to project teams.
