Equities Front Office Developer

Title: Equities Front Office Developer *Local to NYC *interview will be f-f for final round (after 2-3 video rounds, will likely have a coding test) Description: Key skills: Java, Equities Financing, Swaps, Nuvo Prime and /or SwapOne, some sort of AI platform like DL4J is a big plus, Murex is also a plus Really need more of a front office type of person (i.e., working with traders) Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Java in Equities development space.
- In-depth knowledge of equities, equity derivatives, and trading workflows (including FIX protocol)
- Experience with mission-critical trading platforms (Order/Stock Loan/Market Data Systems)
- Direct collaboration with trading desks, quants, and risk teams
- Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, PuppetLabs, SonaType, SonarQube, Tenable, Invicti and Zero Networks
- Experience in development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks
- Solid understanding of back-end and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years of Java development experience, ideally in capital markets/financial services
- Experience with frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake)
- Proficiency with Git and Agile development
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with AI/ML
- Experience and familiarity with Log observability tools such as Elastic Search/Kibana/Splunk stack.
- Familiarity with pricing models, quantitative analysis, and P&L calculations.
- Experience with leading industry platforms, including Quod, FlexTrade, Charles River Trader, Nuvoprime, and Murex.
- Experience with cloud (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of regulatory/risk/compliance and audit controls in Equities trading space is plus.
