Job Description: Maintenance Planner Job Location: Hartford City, IN Travel: Approximately 15% throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico
Job Responsibilities and Tasks We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support maintenance and reliability activities at our paper mill. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance work to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. This position will leverage IBM Maximo to develop job plans, manage work orders, maintain equipment records, and optimize maintenance resource utilization across the mill. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably within the pulp and paper industry, and possess a strong understanding of maintenance planning best practices, preventive maintenance programs, and reliability-centered maintenance principles.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance planning, maintenance supervision, reliability, or industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience using a CMMS.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pulp, paper, tissue, packaging, or other heavy manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and motor diagnostics.
- Experience with outage planning and execution.
- Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or maintenance KPI dashboarding.
