Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Medical Surgical Unit for 12-hour night shifts. The unit provides care for a variety of patients with diagnoses including pneumonia, UTI, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and more. Nurses will work closely with a team and may be required to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing assessments.
• Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patients' conditions.
• Titrate medications and drips as required, excluding cardiac drips.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with training and supervision of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Current RN License and BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
