This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and hands‑on participation in service. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate front-of-house staff Assign sections, monitor service flow, and ensure resident satisfaction Responsible for creating the schedule and knowing which servers are on schedule and assigning sections on a rotating basis. Review communication logs and meal bookings; coordinate special diets and events Assist servers with table setting and breakdown as appropriate, making sure clean linen is available, and ordering from linen supplier. Monitor safety standards, cleanliness, and equipment use Communicate with nursing regarding incidents or resident needs Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred 1+ year experience in food service or hospitality; leadership/mentoring experience preferred Food Handler’s Permit required Strong leadership, conflict resolution, multitasking, and communication skills Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs; push 250 lb carts or residents Stand, walk, bend, squat, and perform repetitive arm/hand motions We maintain a strong policy of Equal Employment Opportunity for all associates.
