Ophthalmology Pediatrics Physician

This facility is seeking a Ophthalmology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity:Schedule: 12-01-2026 - 01-01-2027; 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; approximately 48 total hours; no call.Practice Setting: InpatientTypes of Cases: Pediatric Ophthalmology; Retinopathy of Prematurity screening for neonatal intensive care unit patients across Memorial Campus, East Campus, and Transmountain Campus; patients are newborns ages 0–1; one screening per patient.Credentialing Timeframe: 60 daysElectronic Medical Record: CernerCertifications Required: Board Certified in Pediatric Ophthalmology; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support; Basic Life Support; Pediatric Advanced Life Support; Ophthalmology fellowship preferredLicensure Required: Texas medical license onlyAMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
