As a Packer at our Fortune 500 company, you will be an essential member of our dynamic production team, engaged in various tasks to ensure the efficient and accurate packaging of products. Your primary responsibility will be to take finished products off the assembly line and meticulously package them into designated boxes. Work Schedule:
- Working 14 days within a 28-day period.
- Rotate between day and night shifts, each lasting 12 hours.
- Total of 182 scheduled days per year, contributing to the dynamic nature of the role.
- Weekly hours may vary between 36 and 48, depending on the schedule for the week.

Compensation:

- Initial hourly pay of $17/hour during the temporary phase.
- Opportunity for a pay increase upon transitioning to permanent employment.
- Overtime is available on a voluntary basis.

This detailed job description outlines the diverse responsibilities associated with this role:

1. Packaging Operations:
- Collaborate with team members to prepare packaging materials for shipments.
- Load products into designated boxes, ensuring each box is properly sealed.
- Accurately label each package with the required information, maintaining high standards of precision.

2. Quality Control:
- Recognize, remove, and/or report defective products during the packaging process.
- Conduct thorough inspections to uphold product quality standards.

3. Logistics and Material Handling:
- Participate in stacking and packaging products for storage or shipment.
- Engage in shipping and receiving activities to support overall logistics operations.

4. Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks that involve stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Repetitively lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily responsibilities.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in packaging or assembly line work is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work swing shift (days and nights).
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
-Ability to continuously lift 50 pounds while performing tasks of stooping, bending, and standing for 12-hour shifts.
