Join Our Team as an OBGYN Physician
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN physician to become part of our dynamic practice at our facility in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
About Our PracticeOur OBGYN team at this location consists of:
- Two experienced physicians
- Three midwives
- Two advanced practitioners
- A dedicated support staff focused on delivering exceptional patient care
- Participate in a 1:6 call rotation
- Provide comprehensive care in a well-equipped clinic
- Utilize advanced facilities, including:
- Onsite Breast Health Services
- Diagnostic testing
- Pelvic floor physical therapy
- Two in-clinic ultrasounds with specialized sonographers
- Two procedure rooms
- 24/7 access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine for consultations and transports
Our facility is nationally recognized for excellence in maternity care, delivering approximately 800 babies annually and featuring a Level III NICU. Key highlights include:
- Neonatologist available for infants born at 28 weeks and above
- OBGYN hospitalist support for inpatient care and emergencies
- The Dennis B. Elrod OBGYN Center with 18 private birthing suites
- Two operating rooms dedicated to labor and delivery
- 24-hour in-house anesthesia services
- Two Da Vinci surgical robots
- System-wide Epic electronic medical records
This position offers a competitive package, including:
- A two-year income guarantee of $450,000, along with a $200,000 recruitment incentive
- Up to $75,000 in student loan reimbursement
- Relocation assistance of up to $20,000
- Eligibility for student loan forgiveness programs, including Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
- Four weeks of vacation plus six holidays during the guarantee period
- An annual CME allowance of $5,000
- Comprehensive benefits starting on day one, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance
