We are a busy dealership that is seeking an oil change technician. Along with the typical oil changes, our team will perform brake, tire, alignments, shock/strut, battery and overall fluids, filters and belt replacement services.

To achieve proper certification, we use training programs through the Ford, Chrysler, and GM. We provide a modern shop with a great pay plan / benefits package, as well as the latest technology and equipment.

Requirements

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Perform regular scheduled maintenance on all makes and models.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
• Basic maintenance including but not limited to: tire rotations and tire replacement, brake inspection, fluid top off, lubrication services, batteries, light bulbs, etc.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferred
• Must be a team player and communicate/problem solve to achieve department goals
• Automotive diagnostics and general familiarity with vehicle operating systems desirable
• Must have a driver's license and a commercially insurable motor vehicle report
• Ability to lift 50lbs
