About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Radiology MD in Massachusetts!

We are actively seeking a skilled Radiologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts, commencing on May 29, 2026. This role involves performing a comprehensive range of radiology procedures, including CT scans, MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine, ultrasounds, and interventional radiology, as well as interpreting various imaging studies. Schedule details for this assignment will be finalized directly with the facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform Bone Mineral Density Studies (QCT).
  • Conduct CT scans, including general, neuro, and advanced studies such as CT Angio, biopsies, and aspiration/drainage.
  • Execute General Radiology procedures, including plain films, Chest B reader, bone density scans, and fluoroscopic studies.
  • Perform Mammography, including MQSA Certified, film screen, and digital imaging.
  • Carry out Mammography Interventional procedures like needle localization, stereotactic biopsies, breast ultrasound biopsies, and breast MRI biopsies.
  • Conduct MRI scans, including general (musculoskeletal), breast MRI, neuro, joints MSK, and MRA.
  • Perform Non-Vascular Interventions, including aspiration/drainage procedures, percutaneous needle biopsies, and extractions.
  • Administer Nuclear Medicine procedures, covering general, cardiac function, thyroid treatment, and SPECT.
  • Execute PET Scans.
  • Perform Special Procedures, such as abscess drainage and various interventional procedures.
  • Conduct Ultrasound studies, including general, OB, abdominal/pelvis, and advanced studies.
  • Undertake Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures, including neuro interventional, diagnostic, and therapeutic vascular intervention.
  • Interpret a wide range of imaging studies.

  • EMR System: Cerner.
