Senior Account Representative

Managing a portfolio of accounts, the full-time Senior Account Representative will ensure accurate and timely payment processing from insurers and patients while working remotely and mentoring staff in fiscal functions. Key responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims, addressing payment discrepancies with insurers and patients Manage assigned accounts by overseeing billing, collections, and adjustments according to established standards Identify recurring issues in payment processes and recommend corrective actions to management Required qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of claims/billing/collections experience, 4 years in a business office, a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education and experience Experience with medical billing, collections, and familiarity with ICD9, CPT4, and HCPCS codes preferred Proficiency in using personal computers and office equipment Understanding of third-party payer guidelines and reimbursement practices Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality Virtual Vocations Inc
