A private primary care practice in Oviedo, Florida is seeking a compassionate, licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team. This is a permanent, outpatient position with consistent 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday—no nights, weekends, or holidays—providing strong work-life balance. Working collaboratively with our physicians and clinical staff, the NP will provide advanced, patient-centered primary care to an established patient panel, with an emphasis on health assessment, chronic disease management, preventive care, and health education.

Qualification and Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with Nurse Practitioner specialization

• Active, unrestricted Florida APRN license

• National board certification (AANP or ANCC), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred

• Current DEA registration / Florida prescriptive authority

• 1–2+ years of experience in primary care or family practice preferred

• Current BLS certification

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Obtain health histories and perform comprehensive physical exams and assessments

• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic treatments within scope of practice

• Provide routine check-ups, immunizations, and preventive screenings

• Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and health management

• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

• Coordinate care and refer to specialists when appropriate

• Maintain accurate and current patient records in the EHR

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver coordinated, holistic care
