Elmwood Terrace Apartments, a 220-unit community, is looking for an experienced maintenance professional who is ready to grow into a key leadership role. As our Assistant Service Manager, you'll work alongside an experienced maintenance team, help drive day-to-day operations, and play a vital role in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents. Pay & Perks $23.00 - $26.00 per hour Up to 50% Rent Discount Quarterly Bonus Opportunities On-Call Pay Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage 401(k) with Company Match Generous PTO & Paid Holidays Career Growth Opportunities with one of the nation's largest apartment owners and operators What You'll Do: Partner with the Service Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations and work order completion Coordinate apartment turns, preventative maintenance programs, and scheduling priorities Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance issues Help maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies Assist with training, coaching, and supporting Maintenance Technicians Perform property inspections and help ensure Morgan standards are consistently met Support emergency maintenance needs through a rotating on-call schedule Community & Schedule Details: Elmwood Terrace Apartments (220 units) Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Work directly with the Service Manager and onsite leadership team Opportunity to expand your leadership experience while remaining hands-on with maintenance operations Play an important role in driving resident satisfaction, property appearance, and team success What You Bring: 2-4 years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience Strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and troubleshooting skills HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification strongly preferred CPO Certification preferred Previous experience leading, mentoring, or training maintenance staff is highly valued Valid driver's license and reliable transportation A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to delivering excellent customer service At Morgan Properties, we believe great communities start with great people.
