THE JOB The Full-Time temporary Staff Accountant will work in project, balance sheet and general ledger accounting for multiple events and properties. This role will also prepare financial statements and assist with other accounting functions. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Prepare artist payments to be sent via wire, ACH, or check Manage the payment, tracking, and approval of all property- and show-related invoices Complete month-end close, including preparation of P&L statements, related journal entries, and financial statements Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure all checks and wires are entered and reconciled monthly Work with AP/AR Specialists to ensure all receivables, receipts, and payable items are processed and recorded accurately and on time Prepare and pay all monthly and quarterly taxes Maintain accounting files, provide audit support as needed, and ensure files comply with all company policies and procedure Perform other accounting functions as assigned WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2+ years industry accounting experience Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel Oracle experience is preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated Strong analytical/problem solving skills A positive attitude Flexibility in work hours and availability, including work nights and weekends, especially during major projects C3 CORE COMPETENCIES Demonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with people Communicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to others Proactively seek solutions to problems.
