We are excited to welcome a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to our team at Canad Inns.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the Canad standards relating to maintenance are met or exceeded, including required repairs and housekeeping of your Canad Inns property. The Supervisor will comply with all standards and provide ongoing updates to the Maintenance Manager of the facility and the Corporate Facilities Management team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervising 5-7 maintenance technicians
  • Scheduling work assignments
• Inspects and ensures safety controls and facility equipment on an on-going basis.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance program and execution
• Working with department manager on property and personnel issues
• Emergency maintenance response
• Responsible for grounds and landscaping
• Coordinates the inventory, purchasing and disbursement of all maintenance supplies.
• Maintain timely and accurate work order completion by technicians to include on-the-job training and coaching
• Ensures adherence to the Canad Inns standards of maintenance quality, repairs, and upkeep.
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulatory policies and guidelines.
• All other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years' experience in hotel, facility or general maintenance.
• Previous supervisory experience
• Knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment, and processes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
• CPO certification will be required
