About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed to support staffing and patient care continuity
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to Clinical Decision or Observation units
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency department environments
