Emergency Department Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 06:45 - 19:15

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patient assessment skills and the ability to initiate appropriate nursing interventions, while providing care that is tailored to the condition and age of the patient. Timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity is also a critical component of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Implement appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition.
• Provide care that is age-appropriate for patients across all demographics, including geriatrics, adults, pediatrics, and obstetrics.
• Document care and patient interactions accurately in the medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred.
