Consumer Loan OfficerFirsTier Bank is a family-owned community bank currently servicing 12 branch markets throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.FirsTier Bank is searching for a Consumer Loan Officer to join our Holdrege, Nebraska team. This position represents the bank in the local community and participates in marketing the bank's lending products and services.Enjoy a rewarding career while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.Essential FunctionsMeet with loan applicants as requested, helping them identify their needsCollect information and assist with filling out loan applications, answering questions as neededReview completed loan requests and evaluate customers' financial eligibility, including income and credit scoresSubmit all loan applications in a timely mannerNotify applicants of their approval status, explaining reasons for rejection when neededPrepare reports on approvals and denials for upper management as neededWork with approved customers to get paperwork signed and set up payment plans, informing them of all policies and proceduresMonitor active loan accounts and seek solutions to speed up repayment processesEnsure loans are in compliance with relevant laws and regulationsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of consumer lending experienceWorking knowledge of banking software, including application software and relevant databasesAbility to build rapport with customers.Strong analytical and mathematical skills.Computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new software applicationsSkills/Abilities:Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent math skills.Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.Thorough understanding of customer service.Job Type: Full-time; Monday to Friday; 40 hours per weekPhysical setting: Professional OfficeWork Location: In personBenefits include:401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offPay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
