Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Southern Illinois Healthcare.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: - Technical Experience: 6 months or specialized training for non-certified or on the job and military training

Required Credentials: - High School diploma or equivalent - Non-Certified: Graduate of OR technician program, accredited through ARC/STSA or on the job training; military experience as technician or LPN; dental assistant; ophthalmologist technician; medical assistant. All on the job training or military must show evidence of training by training facility, physician in charge or military command officer.

Unit Details: - Uses Epic.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating day off throughout the week. - On-call 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month. - 0800-1830 - Holiday Coverage: No

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
