As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with physical therapists and the broader interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services. The environment emphasizes collaborative practice, continuous clinical improvement, and supportive leadership that enables therapists to focus on high-quality patient care.A typical day in this role includes assisting with evaluation carryover, implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapeutic interventions to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, medically complex conditions, and general deconditioning. Clinical responsibilities may include therapeutic exercise, balance and gait training, transfer training, functional mobility practice, and education for patients and caregivers on safe home and facility mobility strategies. You will be expected to participate in care conferences, contribute to discharge planning, and collaborate with nursing and other therapists to optimize functional outcomes and patient satisfaction.Patient caseload primarily consists of adult and geriatric populations in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care settings. Treatment is provided in a mix of gym-based and bedside sessions, depending on patient needs and acuity. Typical schedules are full-time with daytime hours, with some flexibility based on operational needs and patient volume. Workflows are supported by electronic medical records, established therapy protocols, and access to appropriate therapeutic equipment to deliver effective interventions. Required Qualifications Physical Therapist Assistant, Skilled License and SNF experience are required.
