Our client, a wholesale manufacturing apparel company is seeking a Associate Designer- Juniors Apparel to join their team in NYC! Key Responsibilities: Assist in designing seasonal collections from concept to final design. Research market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences. Create detailed technical sketches, specifications, and mood boards to communicate design ideas. Collaborate with the production and merchandizing team. Attend fittings and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated on emerging trends in fashion, fabrics, and techniques. Assist in preparing presentations for internal reviews and trade shows. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience. Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and fabric types. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop). Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for trends. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
