This role is open to candidates ranging from recent graduates to engineers with a few years of professional experience. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce!The Software Engineer’s duties and responsibilities include:Develop, test, and deploy software applications, making sound implementation decisions within established architectural directionBuild and maintain microservices that integrate with internal and third-party APIsContribute to backend integrations with CRM platformsSupport and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for web applications and APIsParticipate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, and follow established code quality standardsContribute to automation and workflow improvements, including projects involving LLM and generative AI solutionsContinuously learn and develop your skills through pairing with senior engineers, code review feedback, and exposure to a wide range of technical challengesPerform other responsibilities and projects as directed by the Chief Technology OfficerThe Skills You Need:0-3 years of professional software development experienceProficiency in Python, demonstrated through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experienceFamiliarity with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure), through coursework, personal projects, or professional experienceExperience creating web pages with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience working with relational databases (Postgres preferred)Experience with RESTful APIsUnderstanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals and Agile methodologyExperience with Git and collaborative development workflows (pull requests, code reviews)Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain your work clearlyDemonstrated coding ability through one or more of the following: a CS or related degree, a coding bootcamp, significant open-source or personal projects, or relevant work experienceEven Better If You Have:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experienceAny cloud platform certification (GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or similar)CRM experience, such as Zoho or SalesforceExposure to generative AI tools, LLM APIs, or AI-assisted development workflowsExperience with Django or another Python web framework (Flask, FastAPI, etc)Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal projects-What We OfferWe offer generous pay along with health benefits we are proud of.
