Accountant

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional with strong GAAP knowledge, Excel skills, and experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations . Key Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger accounts and related accounting activities to support financial statements and reporting. Perform account reconciliations, analysis, and reviews as part of the month-end close process. Prepare and review journal entries , ensuring appropriate accounting classifications in accordance with GAAP. Prepare and maintain monthly accruals, allocations, and complex journal entries based on updated information. Support month-end and quarter-end close activities. Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits . Assist with evaluating, maintaining, and monitoring internal controls and related documentation. Manage various accounting and administrative processes. Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word . Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) . Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and journal entries . Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
