Extended Job Title Technician II Position Description Under general supervision performs skilled mechanical or analyticalduties on various projects. May supervise subordinateemployees. Requisition ID 45862BR Travel Required Up to 25% Pay Grade Maximum $21.00 Major/Essential Functions Responsible to meet all procurement and documentation policyand procedures as set forth by TTUHSC, Managed Health Care. Maintains accurate records of supplies requested, procured aswell as reconciled invoices, and distributed as deemed appropriateby supervisor(s). Responsible for acquisition and / or purchasing of medicalmaterials while considering best price, quality, availability andreliability when purchasing products. Billing, and/or servicedocumentation and questions to be forwarded to the accountingdepartment or supervisor as appropriate. Maintains adequate supply of stock items to ensure availabilityat all times including its employees and all of its activities;documenting, ordering, receiving, checking, stocking, anddistributing supplies and equipment in an accurate and timelyfashion. Aids in provision of a daily courier service between HealthCare System sites and vendors as necessary. Research and check resources to obtain best pricing,availability and reliability of products. Assist in equipmentinventory monitoring and reconciliation as required by ACAStandards, TTUHSC Policy and/or supervisor. Develops and implements policies for general supply request andspecial orders.
