Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic procedures, and crafting tailored care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute or chronic health concerns with independence or collaborative support from physicians
• Providing education on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management to patients and family members
• Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments in accordance with your qualifications
• Involving in follow-up care and chronic health condition management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Alaska
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
