We work closely with the leading staffing trade associations, training, and research organizations to ensure we are knowledgeable of the latest industry trends and technologies.Qualifications:5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience supporting Oracle RDBMS and ASM environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related disciplineStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills within complex database environmentsStrong SQL and PL/SQL development skills for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance analysisExperience with SQL performance tuning including execution plans, SQL traces, indexing strategies, partitioning, and optimization techniquesStrong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration fundamentalsExperience developing Shell scripts and automation solutionsAbility to work independently and effectively manage operational support responsibilitiesStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teamsFlexibility to support rotating on-call schedules and after-hours production support activitiesKey Responsibilities:Oracle Database Administration: Administer, monitor, and support Oracle database environments including Oracle RDBMS, ASM, RAC, and related infrastructure componentsDatabase Monitoring & Support: Monitor database environments using Oracle Enterprise Manager and other tools to ensure system availability, stability, and performancePerformance Tuning: Analyze and troubleshoot SQL, database, and system performance issues through query optimization, execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, partitioning, and performance diagnosticsDatabase Maintenance: Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, cloning, backup, and recovery activities across Oracle database environmentsAutomation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation solutions utilizing Shell, Python, SQL, and PL/SQL scripting to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effortIssue Resolution: Respond to client requests, production incidents, database issues, and operational support inquiries while providing timely resolution and communicationData Replication & Integration: Configure and maintain Oracle GoldenGate services and support data replication requirements across client environmentsCloud & Infrastructure Support: Assist with database architecture, planning, and migration initiatives involving Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or similar cloud platformsStandards & Governance: Establish and maintain database administration standards, naming conventions, patching procedures, backup strategies, and operational best practicesCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application teams, infrastructure teams, and client-facing support organizations to resolve issues and support business objectives.
