Lead Cook
High volume, Private City Club in Boston’s historic Back Bay is seeking an experienced banquet Lead Cook . Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, be able to execute high volume orders, and professionally lead a team. This banquet Lead Cook would work closely with the Head Chef and Head Banquet Chefs.
This position offers a competitive base pay, paid time off, extensive benefit package, and on-site parking.
Applicants should possess the following qualities:
-highly organized
-ability to handle high volume orders
-problem solve within a fast-paced environment
-maintain composure in high stress environment
-leadership in regard to managing and teaching fellow staff
-current / up to date SERV safe and MA Allergen Awareness certifications strongly preferred
-experience with standard kitchen equipment
-attention to detail for consistency and quality
-passion for food, quality, and technique
-report directly to the Executive Chef.
-desire to learn
