Service Account Manager

This position is to provide sales coverage for the South Central USA region including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. The SAM will be responsible for selling the products for the Paper Service Divisions. Essential functions include being the primary point of contact to build new and long-term relationships with customers, continually looking for ways to improve account growth through a clear understanding of clients' objectives and goals, driving client retention and satisfaction throughout the territory, serving as a liaison between the client and internal teams, maintaining organized and detailed territory records in the Company's CRM system, representing all product lines assigned on each mill visit, being responsible for the territory forecasts, budgets and cost controls, developing and adhering to processes and workflows, as it relates to account success, providing input on new processes and workflows as needed and assisting with implementing these processes, and performing other duties and responsibilities as required.

Education, professional experience and qualification preferred/required B.S. degree in Engineering or 5 to 10 years' experience in Pulp and Paper. Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Sales experience and established relationships with the customers in the region is preferred. Knowledge of the Andritz Stock Preparation and Paper Machine Service product lines is required. Willingness to travel- 80% of time will be spent in the field. Demonstrated ability to prioritize when multiple tasks require attention. Position performed in an office and/or home office-remote) environment. Frequent visits to mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment.
