Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Houston, TX

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making a lasting impact within school settings. This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing dedicated support in both pediatric and educational environments. You will split your time between two campuses, collaborating closely with a highly regarded team of professionals including an experienced diagnostician and a supportive principal at one location, while assisting another SLP with managing caseloads at both campuses. Key Qualifications & Experience: Current licensure or eligibility for SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or teletherapy preferred Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education processes Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience supporting diverse student populations is a plus Responsibilities: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with fellow SLPs, educators, diagnosticians, and administrators Adapt therapeutic approaches in both in-person and remote (teletherapy) settings as needed Offer consultation to teachers and families regarding communication strategies Benefits & Perks: Work in an environment with strong administrative support and collegial atmosphere Gain valuable experience by supporting another SLP with caseload distribution Enjoy the variety of working across two vibrant campuses #J-18808-Ljbffr Soliant Health
