About Peachford Hospital Peachford Hospital is the Southeast’s premiere behavioral health and addictive disease treatment facility and has been providing compassionate care to children, adolescents, adults and seniors since 1973. Located in the beautiful Dunwoody neighborhood of Atlanta, Peachford offers inpatient acute care, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. About the Role The Behavioral Health Receptionist / Switchboard Operator is required to work PRN (On-Call) on weekends and some evenings during the week at the front desk of a busy hospital. The role involves a positive, responsive environment for receiving internal and external customers via telephone and face‑to‑face. The Receptionist is the first person many guests encounter and is responsible for setting a positive first impression as well as managing a high volume of calls and visitors while remaining positive and pleasant. What You Will Do Receptionists are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks: Answer and respond to telephone and face‑to‑face inquiries promptly and in a pleasant, courteous and clear manner. Demonstrate knowledge of hospital emergency code response procedures. Provide routine hospital‑related information to callers and visitors. Maintain a safe and secure lobby area. Requirements A high school diploma or GED is required and previous hospital switchboard experience is preferred.
