Position: Full‑time What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive on‑site evaluations to accurately diagnose plant health issues, including the identification of common pests and diseases. Within a designated territory of 800 to 1,200 clients, implement Integrated Pest Management strategies by administering both preventative and corrective plant treatments. Operate a 300‑gallon John Bean spray rig equipped with a 400‑foot hose daily to execute annual maintenance plans for our clientele. Communicate professional recommendations and service details effectively to clients. Consistently deliver high‑quality results by effectively collaborating with a team while also being able to work autonomously. Demonstrate strong knowledge of plant identification, common diseases, and insect pests. A degree in horticulture or agricultural sciences is preferred, but not required. A strong aptitude for learning is essential; prior experience in horticulture or a related field is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a reliable, detail‑oriented work ethic are a must. The ability to obtain a state pesticide applicator license (KS 3A/3B or MO 3) within the first three months of employment. Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Possession of a valid driver’s license. SAFETY‑SENSITIVE POSITION: This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring the operation of vehicles and equipment.
