Supporting Medicaid members in South Carolina, the full-time hourly Medicaid Call Center Representative will manage inquiries, provide information about member eligibility, and assist with Medicaid applications while working remotely within a 60-mile radius of Columbia, SC. Key responsibilities Respond to South Carolina Medicaid member inquiries using a computerized system and standard procedures Gather information, assess caller needs, and resolve inquiries while documenting calls accurately Advocate for Medicaid members by providing clear information and assisting with application processes Required qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED Minimum of 1-year call center experience in telephone customer service or related fields Ability to pass a pre-employment screening and Call Center - Service Skills Assessment Proficiency in computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple programs Must reside within a 60-mile radius of Columbia, SC
