Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Job Description

Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Northern CA based client to identify a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting for a high-performing financial services organization. This hybrid role is ideal for an analytical finance professional with strong Excel modeling skills, a solid accounting foundation, and experience supporting FP&A cycles. The FP&A Analyst will contribute to annual planning, quarterly forecasting, branch P&L analysis, business intelligence development, and process improvement initiatives-helping leadership make informed, data-driven decisions. • Hybrid (Must be located Northern CA)
• $100,000-$120,000/year (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Build business intelligence tools, forecast models, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
• Compile and analyze monthly branch profit and loss statements.
• Provide insights and analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Standardize and automate internal reporting; identify and resolve mapping errors.
• Support month-end close activities.
• Contribute to process improvement and documentation initiatives.
• Complete ad hoc analysis, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of FP&A experience; financial services industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills required.
• Experience with Loan Vision or Encompass a plus.
• Ability to learn additional accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and deadline-driven in a multi-tasking environment.
