Job Description: 

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Data Engineer to join a highly talented development team working on modern simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member generating and architecting large data sets. Our product team works closely with end users who are tasked to make the right decision under unique and dynamic conditions. Our analytical tools need to enable that effective decision making. This is a significant opportunity to work closely with assembled experts on a dedicated and talented team. Employment is contingent upon contract award. 



 
As a team member, you will: 

• Implement data pipelines that integrates data from various sources into a central environment 
• Develop visualizations that rapidly communicate key metrics intuitively from large, heterogenous data sets and formats 
• Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team 
• Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology 
• Deliver high quality product features exceeding client expectations 

Minimum qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience 
• DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility 
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience 
• 4+ years of experience with Python 
• Experience with logistic systems such as LMP, DRRS, GCSS-Army, etc. 
• Experience with cloud data environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud 
• Experience with ETL frameworks such as Apache NiFi or Apache Airflow 
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases 
• 3+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team 
• Experience building, testing and deploying software 
• Experience with Git in a team environment 
• Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements 
• US Citizenship 

Preferred qualifications: 

• DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance 
• Experience with large data set analysis 
• Experience writing technical documentation 
• Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP) 
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed

Job Type: Full-time 

 
Salary: $110,000-$160,000
