Strength And Conditioning Intern

Morgan State University Strength & Conditioning is currently seeking Fall 2026 Strength & Conditioning Interns . This internship provides hands‑on coaching experience in a collegiate athletic environment, education in program design and practical application, and mentorship from full‑time collegiate strength coaches. Successful interns will be strongly considered for a paid apprenticeship position during the 2027-2028 academic year and may complete the required hours toward the CSCCa – SCCC certification . Responsibilities Assisting with training sessions for Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball and/or Olympic Sports Supporting daily maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of training facilities Assisting with data entry, tracking, and upkeep Supporting team logistics, setup, breakdown, and transitions Completing additional duties as assigned by the Director of Sport Performance Minimum Qualifications Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality High level of enthusiasm and professionalism A strong desire to pursue a career in Strength & Conditioning Preferred Qualifications Previous coaching experience in a collegiate, professional, high school, or private sector setting Competitive collegiate athletic experience Additional Information This is an unpaid internship.
