Technician, Laboratory Phlebotomy

PhlebotomistHours & Location: Full time: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm 1907 S Alexander St, Plant City, FLWe are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, has the ability to multi-task, and think outside of the box. We want someone who supports our top initiative of ensuring an excellent patient experience!The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing and collecting blood from patients and preparing the samples for testing. Verifies the patient's records, enters data into the system, and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Processes specimens and demonstrates proper handling of samples. Instructs patients on Coumadin and performs limited waived testing. Maintains sample integrity by identification and labeling (2 identifiers).
