Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a main OR setting supporting General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgical procedures
• Perform both circulating and scrub roles as required across a 16-room OR suite
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems during applicable procedures
• Administer and document patient care using facility electronic health record and medication dispensing systems
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weekday night calls and weekend call shifts within an 8-week schedule cycle
• Work assigned weekends and required major holidays per facility scheduling policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Demonstrated experience in both circulating and scrub roles — required, no exceptions
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Prior experience working with da Vinci robotic surgical systems
• Familiarity with multi-specialty OR environments serving adult to geriatric patient populations
