Registered Nurse in the Psych Department
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Psych department, where you'll make a meaningful impact on patients' mental health.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct intake assessments through patient and relative interviews
- Plan and provide nursing care for patients
- Make nursing diagnoses and recommend treatment options
- Consult with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff on treatment plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient reactions
- Assist clients in understanding emotional disturbances and treatment needs
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients
- Document patient information and maintain confidentiality
What We Need To See
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- CPI Certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
