Memory Care Activity Assistant

What We Offer Benefits for Full-Time Staff Include: Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Insurance. 401(K) with company match PTO Virtual Doctor Visits - Telehealth Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life and AD&D Insurance Disability Insurance KISx Card (surgery and imaging program) Tuition Reimbursement Daily Pay Available Fun, Creative, and Mission-driven work environment Supportive leadership that values your ideas What You'll Do Lead and assist with group activities including arts and crafts, music, games, and exercise programs for residents on our Dementia Unit Provide one-on-one activities for residents who cannot attend group programs Adapt activities for residents with dementia, memory impairment, or physical limitations Set up, facilitate, and clean up activity spaces before and after each program Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, and themed dining programs Decorate the facility for seasons and holidays to create a warm environment Document resident participation accurately in the activity record Escort and assist residents to and from activity programs safely Support volunteers and community visitors during programs Report any resident behavioral changes or concerns to the nurse Requirements High school diploma or GED required Prior experience working with elderly or memory care populations Certified Nurse Assistant, preferred but NOT required Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality Creative, energetic, and able to engage with others This is an Afternoon/Evening position - no exceptions will be made.
